Chic-fil-A's Rivalry Restaurant

Because Chic-fil-A is perfect in every way, they came up with a genius way to bring fans together (but still on their own side) by hosting a one-day only “Rivalry Restaurant”.

To celebrate one of the South’s oldest rivalries, Chic-fil-A handed out free sandwiches and treats at a pop-up restaurant on the Georgia/Alabama state line last weekend. They posted the event, which took place on the day of the Georgia-Auburn game, to their official Facebook page, inviting fans from both teams to come out and eat and watch the game on an outdoor screen. This is such a great idea, especially from a marketing perspective, because it proves even more that they care about their customers and it's something creative we haven't seen from a fast food restaurant before. The event was a huge success, bringing in hundreds of fans and proving that only Chic-fil-A can bring even the unfriendly of fans together. I guess the only thing we love more than football is fried chicken!
